THE .SI FIELD GUIDE

Can you register a .si domain with Cloudflare?

Separate Cloudflare Registrar support from Cloudflare DNS for a .si domain.

Reviewed: Editorial research by SIDomainChecker

At our review, .si did not appear in Cloudflare’s published TLD policy list. Recheck that list or its registrar search for current support. Cloudflare DNS is a separate service.

Registrar support can change

Cloudflare says a TLD absent from its registration search is not available through that service. A documentation overview alone does not enumerate every ending; the linked TLD policy list is the relevant source. This page records a dated observation rather than promising permanent non-support.

Use Cloudflare DNS with another registrar

Register your .si domain with a provider that offers it, then follow Cloudflare’s instructions to add the site and set its assigned nameservers. Keep existing email and service records intact. Registration, DNS hosting and website hosting are different responsibilities and can sit with different providers.

Plan DNSSEC changes carefully

If your .si domain is already signed, coordinate the DS record with the new DNS configuration. A stale DS record can cause resolution failures. Confirm .si DS-management support with the registrar before turning on or moving DNSSEC. Follow both providers’ current migration instructions.
